Overall, Purpose of the Role:
To provide administrative and programming support to the Operations department.
What you will be doing:
- Create documentation to be issued to site, including work instructions
- Liaise with technical departments (gas, water and electric)
- Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure delivery of schemes
- Complete and issue whereabouts documents to relevant departments and external customers
- Chase and co-ordinate paperwork from clients and asset owners
- Ensure systems are kept up to date
- Complete and submit paperwork to relevant teams
- Perform general administration duties
- Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office
- Create and maintain weekly/monthly reports
- Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system
- Upload documentation to Aptus operational staff to enable them to work safely and correctly
- Create road opening notice permits for works within the highway and public areas
- Complete opening and closing permits
- Programme works for Multi Utility teams as per customer requests
- Prepare jointing programme with jointing work instructions
- Submit relevant paperwork to asset owners for approvals prior to connections
- Raise payments for POC’s/infrastructure charges

- Good experience and working knowledge of using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

- Team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and plan to meet tight deadlines to achieve required targets is essential
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
