Programme Administrator – Yorkshire

Overall Purpose of the Role

To provide administrative and programming support to the operations department.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Create documentation to be issued to site, including work instructions
  2. Liaise with technical departments (gas, water and electric) and assist, where necessary
  3. Communicate with Aptus personnel and customers to ensure delivery of schemes
  4. Complete and issue whereabouts documents to relevant departments and external customers
  5. Chase paperwork from clients and asset owners
  6. Ensure systems are kept up to date
  7. Complete and submit paperwork to relevant personnel
  8. Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, emailing, and filing
  9. Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office
  10. Create and maintain weekly/monthly reports
  11. Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system
  12. Upload documentation to Aptus operational staff to enable them to work safely and correctly
  13. Create road opening notice permits for works within the highway and public areas
  14. Complete opening and closing permits
  15. Programme works for Multi Utility Teams as per Customer requests

 

Experience and Attributes Required

  • Experienced administrative background
  • A strong communicator across all internal and external stakeholders
  • Positive approach to customer and clients
  • A proactive approach to solving problems and seeking information is required
  • Good experience and working knowledge of using Microsoft programs including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Committed to high quality customer service with a positive approach to all stakeholders
  • Dedicated to providing high quality administrative support and project coordination
  • A team player with the ability to work under pressure
  • Evidence of interest in, and commitment to, the success of the Aptus Utilities Limited
  • Understanding of and commitment to the company values
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and plan to meet tight deadlines to achieve required targets is essential
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Salary: Dependent upon experience
