Senior Operations Administrator

Overall Purpose of the Role

To manage all operational administration functions within the Northwest region to ensure that business objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

What you will be doing:

  • Supervise the operational administration team in the Northwest region
  • Liaise with operational administration teams in other regions
  • Ensure all operational administration activities are completed in line with expectations/targets
  • Ensure completion of performance and activity reports as required
  • Assist in the evaluation of the teams’ performance
  • Undertake regular 121 meetings to ensure effective job performance
  • Assisting with the recruitment process, including onboarding new employees, when required
  • Handling employee enquires and addressing any concerns in line with policies and procedures
  • Be creative in finding ways of improving office processes and efficiency
  • Assist in the development of systems and processes to achieve improved operational performance

  • Ability to work within timescales and to deadlines
  • A good understanding of Aptus Utilities business processes
  • Competent in using office software (eg Microsoft Outlook, Excel and in house Audacia system)
  • Previous experience of leading a team would be beneficial

This position is a 12-month Maternity Cover to lead the operational administration staff based at Head Office. The role will be fulfilled in addition to a current role, albeit the current role commitment will be reduced to create availability for the new responsibility. Reporting to the Northwest Regional Manager, this position is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious individual to further their career.

This is a full-time position working within an office environment

Location – Aptus House, Units 19-20, Barrs Fold Road, Wingates Industrial estate, Bolton, BL5 3XP
