Connections Administrator

Overall Purpose of the Role:

To provide administration support to the connections team based at our Head office in Bolton. As a Technical role, this position would suit someone looking to expand their knowledge base. They will have an ability to demonstrate attention to detail, be creative and enthusiastic and think in a methodical way to design, plan and help organise the Gas / Water connections on our developments. Full training will be given.

What you will be doing:

  • General office duties to assist the department
  • Book in Gas / Water requests, liaise with Project Managers, Gas Engineers and Water Testers
  • Write FM144’s and Routine Operations for Gas connections
  • Create CRMC’s for Water Connections
  • Audit Competed Gas / Water Return packs
  • Book in Service connections
  • Produce KPI reports and ensure targets are adhered to
  • Assist in Asset Value processing
  • Work as part of a team to help drive improvements and work more efficiently

What we ask from you:

  • Experienced administrative background.
  • Good verbal communication skills to present information in a professional manner.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word & Outlook.
  • Ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise to meet deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work as part of a Team with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to Learn
