Civils Team

With the need for further expansion and flexibility, we require an additional Civils Team to support our existing Street Lighting teams.

What you will be doing

The new team will assist with installation of street lighting columns, EV Chargers & feeder pillars along with joint bays for our contracts around the Midland’s area. This is a permanent position and would ideally suit a team who is located central to the Burntwood/Birmingham area.

Key Responsibilities

• Column installations and joint bays to allow for jointing teams to service the columns
• EV Charger bases & track work
• Feeder Pillar Installations
• Setting up and removing TM where needed
• Back fill where required
• Cable pulls
• Meeting the requirements of Individual Contracts terms and conditions
• Other duties will be required at Managers discretion

What we ask from you

• Experienced in working to challenging performance measures
• Good communication and drawing reading skills
• Able to understand and implement Risk Assessments and method statements
• Flexible in working hours and to be available when needed – including some weekends
• Full driving licence & Towing required
• Machine Ticket
• Full Streetworks
• Manual Handling
• First Aid
• HSG47 (desirable)
• Towing (desirable)
