Street Lighting HIAB Operator – North West

Overall Purpose of the Role

We require an additional Street Lighting HIAB Operator to support our team. The successful applicant will work primarily from our Leyland depot operating our HIAB and providing support for the street lighting team where required on our contracts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Column installations of all sizes up to 10m
2. Column removals (Steel & Concrete)
3. Joint bays to allow for jointing teams to service the columns
4. Track work on & off site as required
5. Setting up and removing TM where needed
6. Installation of feeder pillars
7. Cable pulls
8. Other duties will be required at Managers discretion

Experience and Attributes Required

1. Experience of HIAB work on Street Lighting contracts
2. Experience of column and feeder pillar installations
3. Experienced in working to challenging performance measures
4. Good communication and drawing reading skills
5. Able to understand and implement Risk Assessments and method statements
6. Flexible in working hours and to be available when needed – including some weekends
7. Evidence of interest in, and commitment to, the success of the Aptus Utilities Limited
8. Understanding of and commitment to the company values

10. Full Streetworks
11. Full driving licence is essential
12. Machine Ticket is desirable

Location: Unit G3, Leyland Business Park, Centurion Way, Leyland, PR25 3GR

Stores/Site environment – 45 hours per week

Salary: Dependent upon experience
