Fastest 50 accolade for second consecutive year

Aptus Utilities has been named as one of the 50 fastest growing companies in the Greater Manchester area for a second consecutive year.

The Ward Hadaway Greater Manchester Fastest 50 is put together by UK Top 100 law firm Ward Hadaway and supported by Manchester Evening News. Aptus was announced as the 10th fastest-growing company overall and 6th in the large business category, at the ceremony which was held at Manchester’s Museum of Science and Industry on Friday 19 May.

Aptus Utilities’ successful model, installing water, gas, electric and street lighting for construction clients, has seen the company make the 2017 list after achieving three years of strong turnover growth whilst still remaining profitable.

This latest recognition follows the company’s entry in 2016 into the Sunday Times and Virgin Fast Track 100, which ranks Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years.

This continued growth demonstrates the industry confidence in the company’s business model as our streamlined multi utility services are increasingly in demand from building developers and construction clients looking to meet vital targets.

The Fastest 50 awards scheme, now in its fourth year, highlights and celebrates the achievements of fast-growing, profitable companies in the region by compiling and publishing an annual list of the 50 fastest growing privately-owned businesses across the Greater Manchester area.

Aptus Utilities Managing Director Jonathan Holden said: “It’s a fantastic achievement for Aptus Utilities to make the Greater Manchester Fastest 50 list for the second year running, and shows the consistency of growth across our business to increase turnover and profit year-on-year.

“This is good news for the local region in terms of our work with construction clients and suppliers to deliver new housing and infrastructure to communities, as well as job creation and employment.

“It is also a positive indication of the level of building that is taking place across the Greater Manchester region and an encouraging sign for the construction industry as whole. With a number of industry related companies featuring on the list, it shows the buoyancy within this sector.”
