Overall Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a Streetlighting Operative to join and support our established street lighting teams across the North West. The successful candidate will assist with the installation and maintenance of street lighting columns, EV charging units, feeder pillars, and joint bays on a variety of contracts throughout the region.
What you will be doing:
- Column installations and joint bays to allow for jointing teams to service the columns
- EV charger bases & track work
- Feeder pillar installations
- Cable pulls
- Meeting the requirements of contracts terms and conditions
- Setting up and removing TM (when required)
- Back fill (when required)
- Other related duties required at Managers discretion
What we ask from you:
- Experienced in working to challenging performance measures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to understand drawings
- Able to understand and implement risk assessments and method statements
- Flexible in working hours and to be available when required – including some weekend work
- Full driving licence & Towing (Essential)
- Manual Handling (Essential)
- First Aid (Essential)
- Machine Ticket (Desirable)
- Full Streetworks (Desirable)
- HSG47 (Desirable)
