Aptus opens Yorkshire depot in next phase of expansion

Aptus Utilities has set its sights on Yorkshire expansion with the launch of a fifth UK depot.

The company has affirmed its commitment to supporting regional housebuilders by opening a Wakefield depot with more than 14,000 square feet of office and warehouse space, plus additional yard space.

The fully refurbished unit at Normanton Industrial Estate is within easy access of major road and motorway networks and will provide a base for our growing Yorkshire operations.

The new facility will enhance Aptus’ regional capability, ensuring we continue to deliver first class customer service to existing clientele, as well as facilitating growth by enabling the company to meet the demand for services from new clients.

In addition to working with residential developers, Aptus is fully equipped to manage multi utility projects within the commercial and industrial sectors, specialising in gas, water, electricity, street lighting, fibre and vehicle charging infrastructure.

Aptus Utilities Operations Director Mark Clegg said: “We have been working in the region for a number of years and investing in a Yorkshire base was the next logical step to take in order to support our clients.

“We have seen increasing demand for our services in the region and the new depot will enable us to cement existing partnerships, but also support us in developing new relationships with local independent builders who may not be aware of our multi utility offering.”
