Fourth RoSPA GOLD for Aptus

We are delighted to announce that Aptus have won a Gold Award from the prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for a fourth consecutive year!

The Awards highlight and celebrate the organisations, individuals and teams that go above and beyond to achieve health and safety excellence. Established in 1956, RoSPAs are internationally recognised as the most sought-after accolade in the health and safety industry by organisations from every sector.

RoSPA Aptus logo 2Aptus was one of around 2,000 entries to be judged on health and safety performance between January to December 2022. Entrants had to provide evidence of a good health and safety management system by answering key performance questions and supporting the answers with a concise portfolio of relevant documentation.

The safety and wellbeing of our colleagues and their families, our clients and all those we come into contact with during the course of our work is paramount, and we are continually seeking to raise standards and drive improvements.

Since 2020 when we won our first Gold RoSPA Award, we have introduced a comprehensive Health and Safety Strategy, dedicated Safety Committees, and launched our Safety Values and Recognition & Rewards Scheme which have all helped to further champion health and safety throughout the workforce.

Health and safety lead at Aptus, HSQE Manager Delicia Maxwell said:

“We are delighted to have been recognised by RoSPA with our fourth consecutive Gold Achievement Award! This is a fantastic testament to the high standards and safety culture we have embedded across the business.

“This is not possible without a wholehearted team effort across the business, I would like to congratulate and thank everyone at Aptus for their enthusiasm and engagement in health and safety, which has contributed to our outstanding safety record.

“I would also like to thank my brilliant health and safety team for their dedication towards making Aptus a safe place to work.”

“We are already looking forward to next year when once again we will be going for gold and this time achieving the prestigious Gold Medal status.”
