Administration Assistant

Aptus Utilities requires an administrator to work within our gas engineering department at head office.

Job Title: Gas Engineering AdministratorReports to: Gas Engineering Manager


Main Activities & Duties

  1. Assist with general administration tasks specifically for the gas engineering department
  2. Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
  3. Deal with general enquiries within department
  4. Audit and review closure packs
  5. Perform clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, mailing and filing
  6. Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system
  7. Maintain records
  8. Electronic archiving of documents


Qualifications & Skills

  • Good reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are essential. GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within timescales and to deadlines is essential


Working Conditions

This is a full time position working within a normal office environment.
