Awards recognition for Aptus Utilities

Aptus Utilities has been recognised by London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as ‘One of 1000 companies to Inspire Britain’. The report is a celebration of some of the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK. We’re among 42 businesses in Greater Manchester named in the annual report, demonstrating once again the level of enterprise and business growth within the region. Engineering and construction is the best represented sector with 134 companies included. To make the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers.

This honour comes on top of another successful year in the Manchester Evening News & Ward Hadaway Fastest 50 awards. The awards scheme, now in its fourth year, highlights and celebrates the achievements of fast-growing, profitable companies in the region by compiling and publishing an annual list of the 50 fastest growing privately-owned businesses across the Greater Manchester area.

This year Aptus was the tenth fastest growing business in the GM region, and sixth in the large business category. Aptus Utilities’ successful model, installing water, gas, electric and street lighting for construction clients, has seen the company make the 2017 list after achieving three years of strong turnover growth whilst still remaining profitable.
